There is a commonality among great salespeople: they jump at the chance to help customers!
In order to be polite, they sometimes constrain themselves when a customer walks in to give another salesperson a chance. That is because the more skilled a salesperson is with his or her craft, the more excited they are about helping the next customer.
A great salesperson never hides behind a desk.
Every day, his or her close ratio gets a little better and better. They know that as soon as they are face-to-face with a client, the odds are high that they will make a sale.
Knowing in advance that you are going to make someone happy with your product is thrilling. This “knowing, ” or confidence, is the first ingredient that must take place.
A modern teaching nowadays is that you can guide your destiny with your positive thoughts. Your brain is such a mysterious and wonderful machine. You can almost “will” things to happen.
While driving to work, repeat in your car several times aloud, “I am a great salesperson!” The words will come out of your mouth and back into your own ears.
You wouldn’t lie to yourself, would you?
No.
Your brain believes and acts on what you tell it.
Your brain will give you the tools you need to make your conviction true.
Thank you for sharing this excellent advice. When our focus is helping others instead of simply trying to make money, our chances for success dramatically increase. I love the affirmation too 🙂
